याद किए गए पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री बरियारपुर| पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री स्व.जगदम्बी प्रसाद यादव के एकाशी गांव स्थित निवास स्थान पर उनके पुत्र सह पूर्व भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष विनय कुमार यादव के नेतृत्व में पुण्यतिथि मनाई गई। भाजपा नेताओं ने उनके तैल चित्र पर माल्यार्पण व पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। भाजपा नेताओं ने उनकी जीवनी पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि जगदम्बी बाबू जनसंघ एवं भाजपा बिहार प्रदेश के प्रथम अध्यक्ष बने। दो बार राज्यसभा सदस्य और चार बार गोड्डा लोकसभा से सांसद निर्वाचित हुए। 1974 के आपातकाल में 19 महीना जेल में रहे। 1962 में मुंगेर विधानसभा से पहली बार विधायक निर्वाचित हुए। 1977 में इनको भारत सरकार में स्वास्थ्य एवं कल्याण मंत्री बनाया गया। पूर्व जिलाध्यक्ष राम दिलीप पासवान, विजय कुमार सिंह, संजय मोदी, जगदेव यादव आदि मौजूद थे।

  About Munger Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency Munger is a district, a Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency, and a legislative assembly segment in the state of Bihar. The legislative assembly seat of Munger is currently held by Vijay Kumar of RJD, who won the seat with 77,216 votes in the assembly elections held in 2015. Senior BJP leader Jagdambi Prasad Yadav dead

  Senior BJP leader Jagdambi Prasad Yadav dead Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union minister Jagdambi Prasad Yadav, Member of Parliament, died at Coimbatore on Thursday morning following brain haemorrhage, family members in Delhi said. Yadav was visiting Coimbatore as the convenor of parliamentary subcommittee on official languages. Seventy-seven-year old Yadav, who was elected to Lok Sabha from Godda in Jharkhand, is survived by his wife, three sons and five daughters. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee spoke to his family members on phone and consoled them. He issued necessary instructions that arrangements should be made to take his body to Delhi or his hometown in accordance with the wishes of the family, official sources said. Yadav was Union minister of state during the Janata Party rule between 1977 and 1979. He held portfolios of Health, Family Welfare and Industry.
