All India Rajabhasha conference
PANAJI: The Governor Dr Mridula Sinha inaugurated the 4th all India Rajbhasha sammelan in the city. Ashwini Chowbe, MP, was also present on the occasion.
The two-day sammelan will discuss on the importance of Hindi language and its promotion and is organized by Jagdambi Prasad Yadav Memorial Foundation and International Hindi Council.
The Governor highlighted the importance of Hindi and said that emphasis should be laid on the promotion of Hindi language which is lagging behind compared to English. She said efforts should be made to include the language in day-to-day activities.
The Governor congratulated president Virendra Kumar Yadav and said the organization is doing a commendable job in this direction and expressed happiness that the sammelan is being held in Goa. She hoped that the sammelan will discuss various issues and come out with solutions, which would promote Hindi all over the country.
Member of Parliament, Ashwini Chowbe spoke on the importance of Hindi language and its promotion in day-to-day life. Virendra Kumar Yadav also spoke on the occasion.
The Governor released a book 'Rajbhasha Darpan' by Yadav on the occasion. Certificates were distributed to the participants.
KM Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.
